The most recent set photos from The Defenders featured both Daredevil and Jessica Jones together, while others have featured Luke Cage reuniting with Night Nurse ( Rosario Dawson). There will surely be more halls in need of wrecking in both Iron Fist and The Defenders, so perhaps we'll get a new holiday-themed video just like this a year from now, with all of these Defenders teaming up together to defeat Hell's Kitchen's enemies, while destroying its halls in the process.
The streaming service will roll out Iron Fist on March 17, with The Defenders currently in production, and believed to debut later on in 2017. The "Wreck" uses the same design as the Luke Cage logo, while the "the" uses the Jessica Jones font and "halls" represents the Daredevil logo. Still, this video may give some fans the motivation to catch up with all three shows, which are even all represented in the "Wreck the Halls" logo.

This video doesn't feature any new footage from any of these shows, and we don't get to see any footage of the fourth Defender, Iron Fist, wrecking any halls quite yet, since that series doesn't debut until March 17 on Netflix. This video, which debuted on the official Twitter for Luke Cage, isn't just a play on words, replacing "deck" with "wreck," but serves as proof that these Marvel heroes really do enjoy wrecking the various halls of Hell's Kitchen. Don't expect them to be spreading much holiday cheer to their enemies this Christmas, but you may certainly cheer them on as they battle a number of enemies. Instead of "deck the halls," Daredevil ( Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones ( Krysten Ritter and Luke Cage) ( Mike Colter) will "wreck the halls," in a catchy new holiday video. Everyone has their own unique way of celebrating the holiday season, and that includes the Marvel Netflix heroes who will make up The Defenders next year. In any case, yes, I do think there’s cause for Daredevil fans to be hopeful about a resurgence. If there’s a #2 most-requested return here, it’s probably Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, but it’s a tad bit hard to see him fitting into the very PG-13 MCU without some serious editing. Though I am guessing those are a lower priority, and we haven’t heard anything about any plans for them at this point.
Albeit using the same actors and characters, which is half the point of why anyone wants to see Daredevil return in the first place.Īnd of course, if you open the door to Netflix Daredevil returning, you open the door to Punisher, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. The concept here is that this wouldn’t be a straight season 4 to Netflix’s season 3 of the series, but a bit of a fresh start. Daredevil Reboot – This is a generalized idea that Marvel is planning to bring back Daredevil outright, in addition to the Echo show.
